Statement Magazine Launch
Statement Magazine, the campus student-run literary and arts magazine, will host a launch of this spring’s new edition, containing work by students, along with a special section of creative writing faculty work, and a dedication of the magazine to Jean Burden. Included is a poem by Jean Burden and a tribute to her, written by Carl Selkin. Jean was a great friend of CSULA, with the annual Jean Burden Poetry Reading named after her. At the event, Dean Terry Allison will present his choice of the Dean’s Prizes in Poetry and Prose. Refreshments will be served. Copies of the new magazine will be distributed. Student art work will be displayed.
