Computer Training
Information Technology Services (ITS) Training Program provides just-in-time training via Lynda.com online video tutorials. CSULA students, faculty and staff now have unlimited access to over 1,400 courses on-demand at your fingertips, 24x7. We also offer campus-specific training via step-by-step documentation, Moodle courses, and hands-on computer workshops by request. Topics for workshop request include Microsoft Office 2010 (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook—for faculty and staff), Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop), HTML5 & CSS3, IBM SPSS Statistics, web accessibility workshop series, creating online videos, and many more! Glue, Paper, Scissors: A Group Exhibition
Featuring collage-based work by 15 Los Angeles artists: Dan Bayles, Mark Bradford, Kent Familton, Joyce Lightbody, Candice Lin, Jason Meadows, Justin Michell, Aaron Morse, Eamon Ore-Giron, Meaghan Reid, Nils Schirrmacher, Alexis Smith, Frances Stark, Rosha Yaghmai, and Brenna Youngblood. Glue, Paper, Scissors draws attention to the multifacted ways in which contemporary artists continue to employ collage techniques, juxtaposing objects or images to create new meanings. Border Stories
Witness the journey to self acceptance against the real and constructed obstacles of life on the U.S.-Mexico border when performance artist, Gregory Ramos, portrays 21 different characters based on interviews he conducted in El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico. In Border Stories, Ramos explores the themes of family, religion, HIV/AIDS and what it’s like to live on the border: the border between countries, the border between selves, the border between love and fear.
